Sandra Landolt

Sandra’s artwork incorporates kinetic sculpture, video and public installations and can be seen on www.woundupworld.com and the State Library’s Corner program. She is interested in using everyday objects and turning them into moving installations using environmental friendly power.  Sandra has a background in health which supports her concepts of reassembling the ‘injured’ discarded object and re-animating and adapting their function to a new situation.

Andrew Gibbs

An audio visual performance and installation artist, Andrew is inspired by anything that provokes thought and curiosity—as long as it’s fun. He is fascinated by the relationship between audio and visual meaning and the environments this interaction creates.

Andrew Curnock

Andrew is a video game music composer and sound artist working across various digital media. His recent projects include interactive sound design for circus performance, Nintendo DSi videogame titles and Remote Control, the soundtrack to the Nintendo Wiiware/Apple iPhone game Pop on iTunes. Andrew is planning a series of workshops and showcases for electronic producers in Brisbane and hopes to create a new space for peers and collaborators to reach a wider audience.

Ian Rogers

As a musician, writer, academic and serial multi-tasker, Ian is a one-person collaboration. A member of former Brisbane rock band Iron On and current member of doom-metal band No Anchor, he is interested in the history of various areas of music and is inspired by late 80s/early 90s rock and experimental music.

Even in this information saturated age, Stephen sees gaps in the information we’re presented with. At The Edge he is exploring ways of addressing some of these gaps through progressions in journalism, especially citizen journalism, and new media.

Jaymis Loveday

Jaymis really likes technology and spends lots of time finding creative uses for it. He is a Visualist and co-creator of Create Digital Motion, a website for people who also like to use moving images in creative ways. He also runs the Oxygen Kiosk, a boutique web design agency with branches in Brisbane and Sydney and clients around the world.
