Rainman at the Launch Party

Rainman is a hip hop artist based in Brisbane. Billed as ‘a watershed in local hip hop’ by The Courier Mail, Rainman dropped his debut release Fire in the Belly in 2006.
The Herd’s Urthboy hailed the up-and-comer as ‘destined to become a positive and very listenable force’. Ozhiphop.com crowned Rainman as ‘Queensland’s best kept secret’ with ‘an eloquence for song-writing rarely seen in hip hop’. Rainman has appeared live on Triple J, been featured in the internationally distributed Stealth magazine/CD and had music included in Rhythm and Poetry, a documentary detailing the evolution of Australian hip hop.
