Digital Musicians Wanted

For Fete De La Musique

On the 21st of June, The Edge will be one of many, many spaces around Brisbane opening up it’s doors to amateur and hobbyist musicians for Fete De La Musique.

Don’t speak French? Fête de la Musique is the largest international live music event in the world, held in 350 cities across the globe on the very same day each year – June 21 – in accordance with an International Charter developed by the French Government in 1982.

Sounds fun doesn’t it. For this year’s event The Edge is seeking 10 digital musicians to pipe ambient and abstract music through our in-house PA system.

So if you play music with a computer or a gadget that makes ambient sound, please contact Catalyst Ian Rogers on iankeithrogers@gmail.com. Be sure to include a link to your work.

(Please note: Fete De La Musique is an unpaid event hosted at The Edge due to its radical nature.)
