Got a burning idea for an interactive artwork that you’d like to see brought to life? Join artists Gavin Sade and Priscilla Bracks for a three-part workshop on bringing ideas from the drawing board into the reality of an exhibition space.

During this workshop Priscilla and Gavin will share details about making the works in their exhibition, Lumia. They will openly discuss their design and development process, including refinement of ideas, materials testing, research to find the right electronic components, wrong turns, mistakes and ultimate successes.

Participants will then have an opportunity to brainstorm their own preliminary concepts and work with Priscilla and Gavin over a number of sessions to refine their ideas, and design and prototype the work. Priscilla and Gavin can also offer guidance on finding funding and appropriate exhibition spaces for the artworks.
