SenseLab – sensing physical and social activity

We created SenseLab is part of the Edge opening activities. The aim was to showcase how sensor and social mobile technologies could be used in conjunction.

Sense-lab is an application that displays physical and social activities in different parts of the Edge on a large interactive touch screen. Activity sensors were installed in four of the bays during the Edge opening. Senselab was used to display how physically as well as socially active (trough twitter feeds) each of the window bays were at any given time. People could interact with the activity timeline using the touch-screen.
