Animate That!

On offer is a $10 000 commission for creatives under the age of 25 to craft and construct a bold experience for Edge visitors.

The brief

The Edge will be commissioning three works of differing scales to be installed into The Edge building for a period of 12 months. We are looking for projects that will be irresistible to the passer-by, demanding exploration and a second glance. We are looking for projects that combine art, technology and science in weird and wonderful ways. We are looking for projects that offer our users the means and opportunity to cleverly connect and collaborate. Projects will be installed at The Edge for a minimum of 12 months.

The dollars
Three commissions are on offer, reflecting the scale of each project:

• $10,000 for a project situated in the breeze-way and/or foyer
• $3000 for a project situated in any publicly accessible space in the building or on the virtual platform
• $150 for a project situated in any publicly accessible space in the building or on the virtual platform

Applications for the $10 000 commission are open to all Australian creatives under the age of 25. Applications for the $3000 and $150 commission are open to all Queensland creatives aged 25 and under.
