The Edge regularly puts the call out for the best local, regional, national and international creative practitioners to join our Residents program. Bioscience Residents
Applications are now open for the Bioscience Residents, running from April to June 2012. This is your chance to get paid to be a show-off, an iconoclast and an experimentalist.

The residencies will last for up to 12 weeks and include $5000 for residency fees, equipment and materials as well as support from The Edge team and 24/7 access to The Edge facility.

In order to make you visible to The Edge user community you will be required to document your process and your project. You’ll be expected to spend some of your time working at The Edge and to share the development of your work and the finished project in at least one public showcase event, workshop or publication.

Projects that demonstrate a strong social inclusion agenda and are co-created with The Edge user community will be highly regarded. This opportunity is open to all artists, but the projects must demonstrate a link to the program themes of Bioscience.

If applying from outside of Brisbane you will be required to arrange your own transportation and accommodation. The Bioscience residency will run from April to June 2012. Applications close 17 February, 2011.
