Sense
Our Sense stream is about the interconnectivity of our world. It focuses on urban informatics, urban design and green initiatives. Using sensors to maintain an up-to-date understanding of our power consumption, water use and a host of other variables we’re able to better understand how our actions impact the environment.
Urban food production and green practices will be explored and tested in and around The Edge facility. This content stream is being supported through a partnership with Australia’s ICT research centre of excellence, NICTA (National Information Communication Technology Australia).
