The Edge’s Write program stream will push new directions in creative writing and publishing, providing young and emerging writers with opportunities to create, publish, network and showcase their work. The Edge provides tools and training in digital writing and publishing formats, ebooks, transmedia storytelling, and podcasting.

For writers, The Edge has spaces to gather plus open-mic nights, workshops, forums, festivals and showcase events. It also has a membership-based online community to provide feedback on work in progress, advice on publishing opportunities and online resources.
