Brisbane Hand Lettering Meetup

June 17, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Try lettering on leaves!

Enjoy this experimental session by lettering on leaves, both green & dried. I will supply the leaves, just make sure you bring an array of markers to suit. Unibal signo white pens work well on green & chisel + permanet markers on the dried.  You are also quite welcome to focus on your own lettering instead of working on the themed meetup project 🙂

This is a social & self led meetup to practice & create calligraphy / modern calligraphy / bush lettering, / fountain penmanship / illustrative lettering / ink & watercolour lettering / iPad – Procreate / vectorising your lettering on laptops also welcome. Just make sure you bring your pen supplies & enough paper.  Please be mindful that we we don’t want to leave a mess at this venue and you will be responsible in cleaning up after yourself.

Tag @bris_handlettering & @slqedge when posting meetup images.

The Edge’s “Coffee Stop” on ground level offers barista made coffee, hot chocolate, a selection of teas & cold drinks. Bring along a re-usable travel cup if you have one and save yourself 50c on your purchase.

THIS IS NOT WORKSHOP. This is a self-led meet-up.
