There is a lot more to fungi than mushrooms and there a lot more you can do with them besides making soup.
Mycelium — the roots of a fungus that you never usually see — can be used as a sort of living cement, turning sawdust or coffee grounds into objects that are light, white, sturdy and biodegradable.
Work with scientists and makers to mix and mould your own mycelium creations: bowls, plates, lampshades and drink coolers. Bring your own container, or use our vacuum former to make a mould on the spot. Fill it with mycelium goodness, and watch your object grow.
